Personal and Business hosting space boosts
Both services have been given resource boosts. Personal accounts have been updated as follows:

The standard business account has also been upgraded from 500MB storage to 1000MB storage. Prices remain the same. Reseller accounts will also be receiving updates in the next few weeks. All resellers will be notified in due course.

VPS hosting
Due to popular demand we have introduced a mini VPS hosting package. The package is available from £19.95 per month. This smaller VPS plan offers 10GB storage and 25GB transfer per month. VPS plans also comes with a 99.99% uptime guarantee. In addition we are now also offering Plesk 10 domain licenses for £10 per month.

Web design service
We have also released a full web design service. We are offering both site maintenance service and a new site design. Whether you need help with your existing website or need a new site creating, we can help. You may also be interested in our competition for a free redesign of your website.

This is excellent news! The cost of storage is falling and my Reseller account is bursting at the seams. Please upgrade the Reseller to at least 2 GB. I’m prepared to pay more but don’t want the complexity of a VPS.

Resellers will be getting a space bump. We are actually changing how the reseller plan works, breaking upgrades into distinct elements. Eg. you pay for space, bandwidth, domain slots separately – rather than present setup were you pay one price and get lots of things you might not need.
Re: your point on VPS. Its not complicated at all, if you buy one of the plesk options, it is effectively a more secure and stable reseller account.

Thanks Stuart. A VPS may be in my future. For now, I await the Reseller package changes with bated breath. Everyone seems to be offering gigabytes for free these days – Yahoo, Google, even Adobe is offering 1 GB for free sharing now. BTW, 34sp.com seems to be a great young company, with great products and service. Please don’t ever sell out to the big boys.
I agree with with Gordon and others. The bandwidth is now trailing badly in comparison to competitors – this is one area that now needs a big increase. If there was ever a reason for me to “jump ship” then it would be the bandwidth. allocation. I don’t want to go anywhere because 34SP is a great company with great support and service, but at the end of the day I have to watch my bottom line like anyone else. Cheers 34SP !
