PHP 8.2 rollout complete across our latest platforms

For those keen to use the latest PHP release, our rollout of the 8.2 branch is now complete. Our Professional, Reseller, and WordPress platforms all now have the option to use this release. New accounts created this week will use this version as standard, while older accounts will need to switch within their control panels.

Please note that 8.2 is available only on our latest hosting platforms, those released in late 2022 / early 2023. If you have a legacy account, you might not see this feature in your control panel as standard. If so, just drop an email to support@34sp.com and our team will be happy to migrate your account to a compatible and updated server.

For reference, 8.2 is the cutting edge PHP version released earlier this year, with support in various forms planned until late 2025. As usual, the latest software versions can help with security, reliability, and performance.
