I’d just like to give a quick update on our sustainable hosting program. Late last year we renewed our partnership with the Woodland Trust for the second year running. As part of that link up, our partnership helps secure ancient woodland in the UK and removes 300 tons of carbon by planting new trees.
I should note that the energy providers used in both our offices and datacentres supply 100% renewable based energy already, so from that perspective you might say we’re actually carbon negative. I won’t say that officially as we’ve not been formally reviewed from every angle by a formal body.
We’re really proud of this effort. If we weren’t using renewables our workload would generate about 50 tons of carbon per year, so by the fact that we are (using renewables), you might say we’re offsetting the usage of six other companies of our size that haven’t yet made the green leap.

Pleased to hear this. As a supporter of Woodland Trust for both the preservation and restoration of the UKs forests and vital carbon capture.
Thanks Mickey. Hopefully we can do even more over the coming year 🙂
Well done. Pleased to hear that you are supporting the Woodland Trust.
Cheers David, sustainability is really important to us, and its great to know it is for a great deal of our clients too 🙂
