While the Covid-19 continues to remake the world on an almost daily basis, one small bright piece of news in the tech world last week – WordCamp Europe will be going ahead – but it will now be online and free! That means everyone can catch Europe’s biggest WordPress event from the comfort of their own home. No planes, trains or expensive hotel tickets either: The event will be 100% free.
WordCamp Europe 2020 Online will take place on the 5th and 6th of June featuring a range of streamed talks and workshops.
Existing ticket holders are expected to receive refunds in due course, and the next in person get together for the big event is set for 2021 in Porto, Portugal. Maybe we’ll see you there!
In the interim though, pencil the 5th and 6th of June in your diary now and sign up for updates via the 2020.europe.wordcamp.org website at the very bottom of the page.
