WordCamp Brighton is coming

15 July 2016

Simon Foster

We are proud to announce that 34SP.com will be ‘Pavilion’ sponsors for the forthcoming WordCamp Brighton 2016. We are really looking forward to the event, which takes place on 23rd & 24th July 2016 at City College Brighton.

Our team of enthusiastic and friendly WordPressers will be making the long trip down from Manchester to Brighton, where they will be manning our stall and handing out some fantastic freebies. The team going down includes Joe, one of our support team  It will be his first WordCamp so we asked him why he was so keen to go.’

I’m looking forward to visiting Brighton and WordCamp for the first time. The chance to be able to explore new possibilities for WordPress is intriguing both on a personal and professional level. I prefer to meet with people face to face, sharing ideas and making new friends along the way.

Coming along with Joe will be Nina, Tim, Siobhan, Daniel, Keith & Kayleigh – look out for them in their blue T-shirts and come say hi! In addition to the team, the giant Wapuu first seen at WordCamp London is expected to make an appearance. Don’t miss out on having your photo taken with Wapuu!

Our WordPress Platform Lead, Tim Nash, will be giving a talk on security and how it is everyone’s responsibility by demonstrating some of the methods hackers use to exploit your sites as well as giving some tips on how to protect them.

Tickets are still available so if you are a WordPress enthusiast based in or around the Brighton area, be sure to snap yours up today.

This is the first WordCamp Brighton and we are really looking forward to our trip down to the South Coast.

If you are planning on attending, don’t forget drop by to the 34SP.com stall or grab one of the team for a chat and some free swag. See you there!
