All you have to do is make sure your friend or colleague knows the domain name of the hosting account you’d like a free month on. When they signup, they enter your domain name into the referral box on the signup form and hey presto, you both get a free month of hosting.
The free month is applied to whatever is being referred and whatever is being purchased. If you have a Professional Hosting account and your colleague is purchasing a Reseller Hosting account, you both get one free month of service. Vice versa too.
