To stop Norton Firewall from blocking our 34SPoints banners, we have changed the name of our 34SPoints banner images.
The new names can be seen here ->
However, if you are still using the old names, the images will still display on your site, and you will continue to receive 34SPoints.

Excellent! Although you still need some little button images added to the range, something along the lines of the button on the Community site. Image is at 😉

You also need to update the images. They still say 30MB, not 50MB.

I’m still having the images hidden from me using Norton Internet Security 2005, until I uncheck the ‘Block ads from this site’ option.

I wish I could work out how to disable ad blocking, it’s the most frustrating thing I’ve ever seen as it often has the effect of deleting things that should be there.

Hmm not good – after a liveupdate can confirm they dont show in NIS2004 either.

Ian, yes we are aware of this, and are updating the images. Hopefully the updated images should be ready by next week.

Dan, thank you for pointing that out. I had spoken to someone with Norton who said it was fixed, but after a LiveUpdate it’s gone back to hiding the images again. We will look into this and try to come up with another solution.

Brilliant, I have been using PEAR on sites hosted by 34SP for ages – nice to see it included here at last as a matter of course!
