34SP.com 24-hour gameathon raising money for GTMCR Mayor’s Homelessness Fund

The 34SP.com staff are hosting a charity gameathon event this Friday. The team have been raising money for the past couple of years, and this will be our third annual gameathon. In the past we have raised money for the Syrian refugee crisis and Shelter UK. This year we have selected GTMCR Mayor’s Homelessness Fund as it is a local cause close to our hearts.

The 34SP.com team are hosting a non stop 24-hour gameathon which will be live streamed on our Twitch channel. There will be a variety of different solo-play games being run through, as well as some multiplayer madness between the team members. Why we chose GTMCR Mayor’s Homelessness Fund

We wanted to select a local charity to fundraise for, and homelessness in Manchester is something we have seen steadily increase over the years. The Mayor’s charity hopes to raise enough funds to provide extra shelter and bring an end to rough sleeping in our city.

We have set up a page for ourselves and viewers to make donations; all funds will be sent to the Mayor’s Homelessness Fund. We hope you can join us for some fun gaming; it’s hard work committing to 24 hours of non-stop gaming, so your support will really help keep us going!
