Limited backup services

All personal and business hosting accounts have a limited monthly backup option enabled as standard.

The backup system runs once per month and stores a copy of your website files. Please note that email and webstat data is NOT backed up. For a more fully featured backup service please see full backup services below.

Should a 34SP.com server fail and result in data loss, we will endeavour to restore your site from the most recent monthly backup at no cost to you. If you require a full or partial backup restore, we charge a fee of five pounds per restore request.

NOTE: The free monthly service should NOT to be relied upon as a guaranteed backup system. We strongly advise all users to retain a local copy of their important data.

Full backup services

A more comprehensive backup is available as an an optional extra. The backup will include your cgi-bin, httpdocs, httpsdocs, databases and email (please contact us for specifics).

The service can be enabled on either a weekly or daily basis. One restore per month is provided free of charge.

Backups are written to your account space and also stored on a seperate 34SP.com server for redundancy. Daily users will have seven constantly overwritten backups stored (one for each day of the week).

For example, backing up a Personal Hosting 500 account costing an annual fee of $30.95, would cost $7.74 for a weekly backup. The fees are payable yearly.
